Made-to-Measure Systems
Made-to-measure Cerberus Plus systems are available on request.
The smallest available made-to-measure size is approximately:
1 m × 1 m × 2.5 m high
Custom systems can be manufactured up to approximately 30 m², depending on the required dimensions, layout and configuration.
All made-to-measure systems must be individually priced based on the required size, height, layout and selected options.
Add-Ons and Upgrades
The following optional products can be added to compatible Cerberus Plus systems.
Compatibility depends on the pergola size, post layout and selected configuration. Custom-sized blinds, doors and wall sections must be individually priced.
Manual Track Blinds
Manual track blinds provide additional shade, privacy and protection from wind and low-angle sunlight.
The blind travels within side channels to help keep the fabric secure and reduce movement during changing weather conditions.
Available standard widths include:
- 3-metre manual track blind: $900 + GST
- 4-metre manual track blind: $1,200 + GST
Motorised Track Blinds
Motorised track blinds provide convenient remote-controlled operation and can help create a more sheltered outdoor living area.
Available standard widths include:
- 3-metre motorised track blind: $1,200 + GST
- 4-metre motorised track blind: $1,600 + GST
Electrical connection is not included and must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
Glass Sliding Doors
Glass sliding doors can create a more enclosed outdoor room while maintaining natural light and outdoor views.
They are suitable for outdoor dining areas, poolside spaces, courtyards and locations requiring additional protection from wind.
Available standard widths include:
- 3-metre glass sliding door system: $1,700 + GST
- 4-metre glass sliding door system: $2,200 + GST
Final panel quantities and opening directions depend on the selected system configuration.
Aluminium Louvre Walls
Vertical aluminium louvre walls provide privacy, ventilation and architectural screening around the sides of the pergola.
Available standard widths include:
- 3-metre louvre wall: $3,000 + GST
- 4-metre louvre wall: $3,500 + GST
Solid Aluminium Walls
Solid aluminium wall panels provide increased privacy and additional protection from wind and changing weather conditions.
Available standard widths include:
- 3-metre solid aluminium wall: $2,000 + GST
- 4-metre solid aluminium wall: $2,400 + GST
Manual Louvre Operation
The manual Cerberus Plus system provides a straightforward way to open, angle and close the aluminium roof blades without an electric motor.
Manual operation may suit:
- Smaller pergolas
- Areas where the roof is adjusted occasionally
- Sites with limited electrical access
- Customers seeking a lower initial purchase price
- Residential decks, patios and BBQ areas
Integrated surround LED lighting is included. The lighting requires an appropriate electrical connection.
Motorised Louvre Operation
The motorised Cerberus Plus system allows the roof blades to be opened, angled or closed using the supplied remote control.
Motorised systems include:
- Remote-controlled louvre operation
- Tuya-compatible smart control
- Automatic rain sensor
- Integrated surround LED lighting
Motorised operation is well suited to frequently used outdoor areas, larger pergolas, outdoor kitchens and hospitality spaces.
Electrical connection is not included and must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
Integrated Surround LED Lighting
Surround LED lighting is included with both manual and motorised Cerberus Plus kitsets.
The lighting is integrated into the perimeter frame and provides practical illumination for outdoor dining, entertaining and evening use.
Automatic Rain Sensor
Motorised Cerberus Plus systems include an automatic rain sensor.
When rain is detected, the sensor can activate the motor and close the louvre blades, helping protect the area beneath the pergola.
The rain sensor is a convenience feature. The Cerberus Plus remains an outdoor structure, and furniture, appliances and electronics placed beneath it should be suitable for outdoor use.
Internal Gutter and Drainage System
When the roof blades are closed, rainwater is directed into the surrounding gutter system.
Water then travels through the internal drainage channels and is discharged through the pergola posts or nominated drainage points.
The final outlet location should be confirmed during site preparation so water can be directed into an appropriate drainage area.

Freestanding Configuration
A freestanding Cerberus Plus pergola uses its own supporting posts and can be positioned independently from an existing building.
Freestanding systems are suitable for:
- Open decks
- Garden entertaining areas
- Poolside spaces
- Outdoor kitchens
- BBQ areas
- Commercial seating areas
- Courtyards
Suitable foundations or structural fixing points are required beneath each post.
Wall-Mounted Configuration
The Cerberus Plus can be configured with one side connected to an existing building.
Wall-mounted systems may suit decks, patios and entertaining areas positioned directly beside a house or commercial property.
The existing wall, framing, cladding, soffit, gutters and fixing points must be suitable for the proposed connection. Additional brackets, flashing or building work may be required.
Roof-Only Louvre Kitset
A roof-only Cerberus Plus system may be supplied for installation within an existing suitable timber, aluminium or steel structure.
This option can be used to upgrade an existing pergola frame with adjustable aluminium roof blades.
The existing structure must be:
- Structurally suitable
- Square and level
- Correctly supported
- Able to carry the weight of the louvre system
- Capable of resisting the required wind loads
- Suitable for integrating drainage and electrical components
Accurate measurements are required before a roof-only system can be manufactured or priced.
Fixed Daylight Sections
Fixed polycarbonate or laminated glass roof sections may be incorporated into selected made-to-measure designs.
Daylight sections can be positioned near existing windows or doors where permanent natural light is required.
Options may include:
- Polycarbonate roof panels
- Laminated safety glass
- Combined fixed and adjustable roof sections
- Frame-only sections
- Open-air sections
Hybrid configurations must be individually designed and priced.
The Pizza Oven Problem — and the Chimney Solution
Outdoor fireplaces and pizza ovens are common additions to outdoor entertaining areas, but many pergola systems do not account for the chimney or flue requirements.
Cerberus Plus does.
Made-to-measure Cerberus Plus roof layouts can be planned around suitable outdoor fireplaces, pizza ovens and cooking appliances.
How It Works
A customised Cerberus Plus roof layout can include:
- Planned cut-outs within the roof
- Structural allowances for suitable chimneys and flues
- Correctly positioned clearances around heat-producing appliances
- Integrated finishing around the roof opening
- Waterproofing maintained around the planned penetration
The Result
A properly planned chimney or flue opening provides:
- Safer heat management
- Proper smoke ventilation
- A clean, integrated finish
- Reduced need for alterations after manufacturing
- Better coordination between the pergola and cooking area
The appliance model, flue diameter, required heat clearances and final chimney position must be confirmed before the Cerberus Plus system is manufactured.
All fireplaces, pizza ovens, BBQs, chimneys and flues must be installed in accordance with the appliance manufacturer’s instructions and applicable building and fire-safety requirements.
Custom flue openings and roof modifications must be individually priced.
Foundations and Fixing Requirements
Cerberus Plus pergolas must be securely anchored to suitable foundations or structural supports.
Suitable installation surfaces may include:
- Reinforced concrete slabs
- Engineered concrete footings
- Structurally suitable timber decks
- Properly designed steel structures
- Existing structures confirmed as suitable
Pavers, tiles, floating deck boards and thin unreinforced concrete should not be relied on as primary structural fixing points.
Additional footings, deck strengthening or structural work may be required before assembly.
Supply-Only Kitset Assembly
The Cerberus Plus is supplied as a kitset for on-site assembly.
Assembly requires accurate measuring, safe lifting, correct anchoring and careful alignment of the posts, beams, gutters and louvre blades.
Professional assembly assistance is recommended for:
- Larger pergolas
- Wall-mounted systems
- Elevated decks
- Motorised systems
- Roof-only installations
- Systems with glass doors or outdoor blinds
- Projects in exposed locations
Installation is arranged separately from the supply-only kitset purchase.
